This paper presents detailed analysis and research of the potential factors affecting water sensitivity and the features of reservoir sensitivity from the reservoir geological structure, the reservoir characteristics, the fluid property, the influent mechanism and so on. On the basis of this .several stabilizing agents are obtained from tens of stabilisers which have good defense quality. Then take the further steps such as the compatibility assessment of stabiliser and injection water solution, the compatibility assessment between injection water and formation water, the corrosion damage degree assessment of the stabilizing agent solution corroding to tubular, the suspended solid content assessment in the stabilizing agent solution and the lab fluidity test assessment of stabilizing agent. Finally screen the effective stabilizing agent suitable for the layer of well 5 area in Saqiu. Through field pre-expansion experiment and comparison with and appraising its execution, the injection way of the best stabiliser is selected and the ideal water injection development result can be reached. At last, its conclusions and advices offer the basis and direction for the further water injection development.
