With the increase of the energy demand in the world and the development of drilling technology, the drilling of the deep well and ultra deep well will become an important aspect of the petroleum industry in the whole world. And well drilling work requires more and more strict to the high temperature-resisted performance of the treating agent of drilling fluid, so the existed treating agent can't already satisfy the demand at all. To these situations, this text studied the function mechanism of thinner and losser, analyzed the effect of calcium and salt to it, and finally compounded the new treating agents which can resist high temperature, calcium and salt by using the polymerization of the water solution of free radicel and the oxidation-deoxidation system as the solicitation agent.This text studied the high temperature, calcium and salt-resisted performance of the water solution of thinner, contrasted them with the same production inland, and studied the effect of reacting condition (such as temperature, dosage of solicitation agent, value of pH, etc.) to the losser performance. It also researched the high temperature, calcium and salt-resisted performance of this production's water solution and the effect of reaction condition to its characteristic viscosity, studied the compatibility in drilling fluid of the two kinds of treating agents and the temperature, calcium, salt resisted performance of drilling fluid system when it was in various density.Basing on the said two agent, a set of water-based drilling fluid system which was high temperature, salt resisted and high density was founded. And the ability of high temperature, calcium and salt resisted had been evaluated.Experiments' result express: THIN and LOSSER can commendably drop the viscostiy and value of losing water in drilling fluid, and their calcium, salt-resisted performance is excellent. They also have good compatibility with the treating agents being used now. So, they have good development prospect.
