Aerosol is the key point of atmospheric pollution research. Air quality is degraded by a fast development of industry and a steady increase of traffic flow. Aerosol is still a predominant pollutant for bad air quality which results in many problems. As increasing of people's consciousness of environment protection, an effective air pollution research specific to aerosol condition becomes a focus point of research activities.Sampling and examination of aerosol is an important mean to research of atmospheric pollution. This study pays emphases on Sampling and examination of aerosol. There are three aspects about this study:1. Composite membrane with high retaining rate and biologic activity were prepared, which were used to sample and examine the microbe in aerosol.2. According international aerosol samplers, the PM2. 5 (aerodynamicdiameter ≤2. 5μm) sampler was prepared on base of aerodynamics.3. By sampling and examining, the relationship between aerosol and parameter of weather condition was found at the representative sampling address. It was shown form the experiment results that the optimum making-membrane conditions were as follows: the supporting membrane: Al2O3 membrane, membrane casting solution:chitosan acetum, the concentration of chitosan:0. 75(wt)%, the speed of knife:5cm/min, the temperature of heat treatment:40℃, the time of heat treatment:3h.Meanwhile, the performance of the PM2. 5 sampler was examined. According the results of ESEM(environmental scanning electric microscope) and the parallel experiment of other samplers, the PM2.5 sampler has shown the excellent performance. Finally, the air quality of sampling addresses was estimated by usingthe PM2. 5 sampler to sample and examine the aerosol of representative sampling address.
