Guangdong Province, Marine Nature Reserves For Sustainable Development

The article studies marine reserves in Guangdong Province and probes into their sustainable development measures by combing the theories on marine reserve and sustainable development.The protection for marine environment is hot and important to protect global natural environment. Firstly, the article makes comprehensive analysis on some theories about marine reserve and combines nature reserve theories with sustainable development theories. This provides theories basis for the article. Secondly the article expounds development situation and management experience in some developed countries and China to provide all-round background. The most important part studies marine reserves in Guangdong Province. On the base of analyzing development and management situation in Guangdong marine reserves, the article uses vague mathematic model and Analytical Hierarchy Process to evaluate the resource situation and management level in some national and provincial marine reserves. The result shows the resource situation generally is good, but the management level is different from each other.On the base of the evaluation result, the article carries out a series of count measure to foster the sustainable development of marine reserves in Guangdong Province. The sustainable development of marine reserves should harmonize ecology, society and economy benefit. Firstly, scientific confirmation and reasonable programming are the base and key to sustainable development of marine reserves all over the province. Scientific research work on marine reserves should be strengthened. Marine reserves net and sister reserves should be advocated to develop. The same to the marine nature reserve geographic information system. Eco-tourist is an important format and approach for the sustainable development of marine reserves. And we should attach importance to the development of National Seashore Park and other economic forms. On management, we should use broadly all domestic and foreign successful experience for reference, manage marine reserves by laws and the model of community participatory, reform management systems in the marine reserves and broaden international and regional co operations.
