Machining chatter is an intensive relation vibration between the cutting tool and the workpiece in cutting processes, which belongs to self - excited vibration. It is a significant work to analyze and control chatter because its occurrence inevitably brings about the pollution of environment noises, decrease the surface quality, the cutting efficiency and tool life, even results in the casualties.Aiming at the characteristics of deep-hole drilling system, this paper firstly analyzes the forces characteristics of deep-hole drilling. On the basic of it chatter of cutting processes is analyzed by speed feedback and displacement delaying feedback and curial condition of stability cutting is discussed. Secondly, dynamic model of deep-hole drilling system with the two degrees of freedom are established in the light of principles of machining chatter in cutting processes. Lastty, the end-drilling processes are simulated in time domain by using numeric simulation technology. The results of simulation show that it is practicable of the established model to depict the drilling progress. In addition, the relations of between drilling forces and cutting parameters All of this provides help for bettering ability and efficiency of deep-hole drilling.
