Taking the regular and irregular methods, six novel luminescent and delayed luminescent complexes (1-6) have been synthesized. Their structure (1-4) have been confirmed by Single-Crystal X-ray four-circle diffraction. And the composition of complex five and complex six have been decided by multimeasure. The FP, UV-VIS and IR properties were investigated. Their formulas are presented as following: (1)Cr(acac)3(Hacac=acetylacetone) (2)Cr(oxinate)3·CH3OH (3)Cr(bacac)3(Hbacac=benzoyl acetone) (4)Al(acac)3(Hacac=acetylacetone) (5) Al(o-hobz)3(o-hobz=o-hydroxybenzoic) (6) Al(p-abz)3(p-abz=p-aminobenzoic) (7){[Ni(imH)4(H2O)2][Ni(imH)4(TCB)(H2O)2]}n (imH=imidazole,H4TCB=1,2,4,5-ben-zenetetracarboxylic acid) (8) [Ni(phen)(H2O)(o-tpha)]·H2O(o-tpha=phthalic,phen=1,10-phenanthroline) (9)[Ni(H2O)3(phen)(C6H5COO)] ·(C6H5COO) The excitation and emission spectra of six novel and other three complexes were mainly studied. It was founded that the nine complexes are luminescent at room temperature. Especially, the nine complexes represent delayed luminescent property. The emitting principle and process were also discussed. Comparing with the reference (appropriate raw materials),the fluorescence intensity of these nine complexes varied to some extent :the fluorescence intensity increase sharply in the condition of fixedλmax; the fluorescence intensity increased andλmax changed at the same time. The relationships between the fluorescence intensity and organic ligands, metal ions as well as molecular structures was analyzed, and the major factors the affect fluorescence properties were obtained. In addition, the delayed fluorescence of these nine complexes has also been done, and the rule of changes between delayed fluorescence intensity and delaytime has been founded. And what we have done , perhaps, will be beneficial to further investigate luminous complexes and materials.
