The main parameters of TSP produced by Slurry Process using Haikou phosphate rock (PR) in Yunnan province and the additives improving the cohesiveness of TSP produced by Den Process have been studied in this paper. The main results were shown as follows:1. The optimum process parameters of reaction unit of TSP produced by Slurry Process using Haikou phosphate rock (PR) in Yunnan province were obtained: a. The concentration of phosphoric acid (PA) is (40±l)%P2O5; b. The temperature of PA is95100℃; c. The dosage of PA is 100% in terms of theory; d. The reaction time is 2 hours; e. The grain size of PR is 100% through 100 mesh, (8388) % through 200 mesh.2. Under the above-mentioned process parameters, the tests of TSP produced by Slurry Process using Haikou phosphate rock (PR) R1 R2 R3 R4 R5, R6 R7 in Yunnan province have been carried . The results showed that more than the first grade TSP meeting HG2219-91 can be produced except R1 and R4, the consumption of PR and PA was 0. 127t (as 100%P2O5) /tTSP, 0. 343t (as 100% PA) A TSP respectively, it is close to that of PR and PA for TSP produced by Norsk Hydro Process at Alkaim in Iraq.3. The results showed that this process is technically and economically feasible after primary analysis.4. The slurry process and process parameters for TSP production determined by this paper could be further used as reference in a bench-scale research.5. Through a laboratory test and an industrial test the additive AES for TSP produced by Den Process has been developed, it is cheap and its effect is similar to Montaline SPCV made in France. The cohesiveness of TSP was notably improved, the sand-like TSP was obtained and the agglomerative properties of TSP were not affected by adding 0. 02%—0. 03%(as TSP) AES to TSP.6. Adding 0.02% AES to TSP is technically and economically feasible through a laboratory test, a 2-thousandton industrial test and economic analysis.
