Research in recycled solid waste has been paid more attention in the world. Now smelting iron slag and fly ash produced by factories has polluted air water and soil. The paper aims to study the feasibility of two solid waste as desulfurization absorbents and additives on the basis of survy and simulated experiment. The article uses commercial software to deal with practical issue in engineering, simulates the course of gas desulfurization and analyses the process mechanism.Smelting iron slag and Smelting iron slag blended with fly ash as an absorbent. Average desulfurization rate was 32% When pure Smelting iron was directly ejected into burner. While Smelting iron blended with fly ash obviously improved desulfuration rate. It will be good that Smelting iron slag blended with fly ash replaces limstone as absorbents for it can reduce operation cost.The research provides another way for recycled Smelting iron slag and fly ash , reasonable technological plan for Smelting iron slag used desulfurization and has great significance to recycled solid waste and preserve the sustainable developent of industrial economy and environent.According to the documents and literatures, simulating gas desulfurization by FLUENT software isn't found at home&abroad so far, so the article can be referred for further study of recycled Smelting iron slag and fly ash.
