With comprehensive appliance of the electronic technology, all frequency electromagnetic waves constantly are stuffing the space of the earth, even the universe. Electromagnetic radiations have become the fourth biggest pollution after air, water and noise, they do their best harmful functional role to the high-conductive object—the human being, so they were called "secret killer" to peoples. People are paying more and more attention to the electromagnetic radiation.Modern work and life can not leave various electronic information products and electrical appliances such as computer, TV set, Video game player, fax machines, cell phones, cordless phones, microwave ovens, air purifier, global positioning system (GSM), and shared wireless data protocols (Bluetooth) etc., but these products have brought unexpected harm to people.Electromagnetic wave is composed of electric wave and magnetic wave;it is a kind of energy. It is hazardous to the human body because it penetrates into the cell membrane and changes the ion distribution such as Na and K, and decreases the melatonin secretion in the human body, and it cause rises of the body heat and breaks the biological rhythm.By the study of electromagnetic shielding principle, we have designed some new style fabrics for anti-electromagnetic radiation through the research of raw materials and fabric texture, and solved the key technical problems such as the estimation of the shielding efficacy (SE) and the manufacture of compound yarn which composed of stainless steel filament and general yarn etc. As a newly develop high technology material, the new style Anti-electromagnetic radiation fabric was weaved by the special yarn-composed of stainless filament and nature fiber as cotton, silk, ramie etc. The new fabric overcomes the defect in the production and service of the shielding fabrics at present and satisfied the people's requirement in the routine job and life. After further perfecting, it can be widely used in aviation, navigate and military project, in chemical and metallurgy industry, in electric power, communication and household appliance, and in pharmacy and foodstuff and brewing industry, and even in pottery and underground project. There is a broad prospect for anti-electromagnetic radiation fabrics.
