Hydro Plant With A Water Network Analysis And Optimization Studies

The fundamental principles and methods about integration of heat transfer process and water usage process were applied to analyst the status of energy and water usage of the Electro-Chemical Factory in the paper. Pinch technology was used to optimize the process locally and some advices were given to save water, and the amount 82ton/h of water could be saved. Furthermore, the heat transfer process was optimized and about 1028 (X103kcal/h) energy could be saved. A lot of money could be saved if the technology were applied.
