In this pape, We made the transparency of PP improved with TM-3, NA21 as the organic nucleating agents and the nano-SiO2 , silicon sols as the inorganic nucleating agents respectively .Also we mingled the silicon sols with the organic phosphate as the compound nucleating agent to improve the transparency of PP . The effect of different nucleating agent and its content, the composition and content of the compound nucleating agent on transparency, mechanical and thermal property of PP were studied. The product was identified by haze PLM, DSC and the research results showed that the haze decreased and the transparency increased evidently with the additive of nucleating agent. The effect of transparency improved was discrepant with different nucleating agent in the same matrix, even the transparency was improved with the compound nucleating agent. The haze had obvious variety with the different content of nucleating agent. The analyses of PLM and DSC showed that with the different additive of nucleating agent, the crystal grain size decreased and the crystallinity increased, so the degree that crystal grain affected on the incident light's scattering and refractive was reduced , but the transparent property was improved.Second, we tested the major mechanical properties of the transparency improved material, the results showed that the improved PP had the better synthetic mechanical properties than that of the matrix raw material without improved PP. The analysis of HDT showed that the nucleating agent can evidently improve the heat resistance of the system.We generalized the excellent technical conditions: the haze was additive content of TM-3 was 0.45%; the haze minimum was 42% when the additive content of NA21 was 0. 35%; in the compound system, we can obtain the lowest haze was 36.3% when silicon sols content was 0.15%, organic additive content was 0. 35%, and then the effect was the best.
