On the basis of summarizing of the synthesis and properties of 2,3-naph-thalocyanine, nine 2,3-naphthalocyanine coordination compounds: 5,9,14,18, 23,27,32,36-octa-alkoxy-2,3-naphthalocyanines[MNc(OR)8](M=Cu2+,Zn2+, Ni2+; R= —C5H11,—C8H17, —C12H25) were synthesized by the template reaction of "molecular fragments" with metal ions. l,4-Dialkoxy-2,3-dicya-nonaphthalenes were refluxed respectively with anhydrous metal chloride in n-amyl alcohol in the presence of l,8-diazabicyclo-[5,4,0]-undec-7-ene (DBU). The naphthalocyanine complexes were characterized by elemental analysis and IR. The λem·max of the fluorescence of the products are all red-shift with 60 80nm in compares of un-substituted metal-naphthalocyanine. Metal ions, substitute groups, solvents and concentration have influence on the fluorescence property.
