Cinnamyl alcohol(CMO) which was widely used in organic synthesis and in the production of perfumes, flavorings, pharmaceuticals, and other fine chemicals. In the traditional method of producing CMO, reductant such as aluminum isopropoxide is used to reduce CMA. Compared with the traditional method, the catalyticselective hydrogenation method is superior in saving resources, reducing waste disposal and protecting the environment. Due to the existence of three kinds of unsaturated bond, the hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde has both the practical value and the theoretical significance. Amorphous alloy catalyst represent a new class materials with short-range ordering while long-range disordering structure which may provide pathways to design excellent catalysts with high catalytic activity, better selectivity, and stronger resistance to the sulfur and amine poison. Besides, less or even no environmental pollution occurred during the catalyst preparation and its application in catalysis. Much attention has been paid for these amorphous alloy catalysts. The ultrasound one of the most promising tools recently introduced in heterogeneous catalysis is the application of ultrasonic irradiation. The method was applied in the reaction and pretreatment of catalyst and proved to be highly efficient in the increase of the reaction rate.In the present thesis, ultrafine Co-B, Co-Fe-B, amorphous alloy were prepared through the chemical reduction with or without the help of the ultrasonic wave. The catalyst prepared with the ultrasonic irradiation means Ult-Co-B, Ult-Co-Fe-B. Alter the prepared condition to prepare a series of catalyst. All the catalysts were used in the liquid phase hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde, in atmospherical press or 1.0 MPa according to the experiment requirement. We also prepared the ultrafine Ni-Co-B, Ru-B amorphous alloy without the help of ultrasound. Both the catalysts were used in the atmospherical press liquid phase hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde. On the Ru-B catalyst also study the ultrasounic action on the reaction process. XRD, BET, SEM,...
