With the present situation and development of study of slurry erosion wear and slurry erosion resistance materials summarized, epoxy resin has many obvious merits such as high bonding strength, high strength and hardness and strong erosion resistance and has become erosion resistance adhesive coating of metal extensively. Under the high-speed work condition, the brittleness of epoxy adhesive coating leads to its bad slurry erosion performance. Hence it is important to analyze the relationship between factors and mechanism of slurry erosion wear, improve flexibility of epoxy resin and enhance its slurry erosion performance, which has some certain value and significance to the theoretical research and industry application. The tests included 4 parts as follows:1. The influence of fusion-bonded curing degree of epoxy resin on the slurry erosion wear performance2. Study on modification techniques of filled epoxy resin and test on its slurry erosion wear properties3. Study on modification techniques of PU/EP composite and test on its slurry erosion wear properties4. Study on wear topography and mechanism of modified epoxy adhesive coatingUnder the condition of 3:1 (weight ratio) slurry erosion and by the self-made milling machine, the influence of abrasive size, variety , particle size, addition amount of inorganic fillers, erosion time and addition amount of chain extender and pre-polymer of polyurethane on slurry erosion wear properties of modified epoxy adhesive coating was tested. According to the analysis of wearing curve by tests and wear topography by SEM, slurry erosion wear mechanism of modified epoxy adhesive coating was discussed.The results showed that1. the abrasion ability of large abrasive was 13.15 stronger than of small one.2. the optimal ratio of fusion-bonded curing degree of epoxy resin was 0.9:1.3. the slurry erosion wear properties of epoxy resin composite coating modified by reduced iron powder filler, graphite power filler and nano-sized iron powder were better than epoxy resin.4. as reduction of the average particle size of fillers, the slurry erosion wear properties of modified epoxy adhesive coating were increased.
