Three-dimensional Non-contact Body Measurement

Modern clothing manufacturing has been gradually using CAD in clothing design, the accurate body size is key to ensure the implementation of clothing production. The traditional manual measurement method obviously does not meet the above requirements. As the feature of modern human measurement technology.3D human body measurement technology can overcome the shortcomings of traditional manual measurement, and has the characteristics of fast and accurate. Currently, the technique is in the stage of start in our country and is popular in the world, so its research has large space.This paper discusses the recognition of human feature points and the extraction of main contour line, the content includes five units:Unit 1:We introduce the state of 3D human body measurement technology , and bring forward the background, meaning and technology route of the research.Unit 2: We describe the acquisition and processing of human body digital image, such as the change of image from multicolor to grey, threshold transform. This is the basis for the recognition of human feature points.Unit 3: We analyze the characteristics of female body, and then mainly introduce how to recognize feature points from the body.Unit 4: We introduce two methods of curve fitting, and then make use of them to extract body contour line, find the optimum fitting method.Unit 5: We use VB to program the image in order to get body feature points and contour line.
