Cutting process, as mainly basic techniques of manufacturing technology, is important industry department and primary process technology of these industries: automobile industry, aviation and spaceflight industry, energy sources industry, military affairs industry, burgeoning mould industry, electron industry etc. At the same time, the development of cutting process technology is also important factor for those industries rapid development.Cutting process is a complex techniques process. It involves flexibility dynamics, plasticity dynamics, rupture dynamics, thermodynamics and tribology and so on. Cutting quality influences by these factors, such as reamer sharp, cutting flow, temperature distributing, heat current and reamer abrasion. Recent years people have further understand for cutting mechanism along with finite element technique applying cutting mechanism research.This paper uses ABAQUS to builds and simulates two dimensions cutting process finite element model. Then, applying DEFORM—3D simulates cutting process for the same status, the result shows cutting force is around 300N. After that, the compare result of two dimensions software and three dimensions software simulation testifies the validity of simulation. This paper discuss key technologies of cutting simulation process including separate and rupture of cutting and workpiece, contiguity and friction of cutting and reamer, heat force coupling, and probe into further development direction of cutting simulation—simulation more close to actual cutting process. Furthermore, applying DEFORM—3D analyze cutting speed, influence rules of cutting force and temperature by cutting depth. One cutting parameter change: when cutting speed increase cutting force increases then decrease, which is similar to the change of cutting depth; workpiece and cutting temperature increase along with cutting speedincrease; workpiece and cutting max temperature increase along with cutting depth, so the cutting speed have big influence on workpiece and cutting temperature. The research of this paper is the fundamental of further study.
