The methods of produce acetic acid and ways of technique was analyzed and compared in this study, It demonstrate the technique of Methyl Alcohol Carbonyl Synthetic is advanced, this technique was used for the project of Yun Wei acetic acid. According to the particularity of this techniques——the severe corrosion about the material in the process, and a large quantity of special material is used. This paper optimized the design of plant equipment layout and piping material. The result will reduce large construct invest, save produce cost,and present economic benefit for the enterprise.This design optimize the design of plant equipment layout and piping material according as the related standard and code, basing on the process flow and system, and combining engineering experience. So it ensure the plant run in perennial, safely and stably. This article gain the conclusion:●Plant layout is more compact and reasonable●Produce and operate conveniently●Saving plant invest and produce cost●Reasonable choice of material●Reduce the quantity of the special material●present rich experience for the acetic acid design This paper discuss the optimize design of plant equipment layout and piping material, it apply the national technique of Methyl Alcohol Carbonyl Synthetic, and successfully used for the project of Yun Wei acetic acid, it will accumulate experience for the apply of national technique,and lead the way for the improvement of existing process,and make contribution for breaking the foreign technique monopolization, promoting develop of state acetic acid industry, improving the competition ability of state acetic acid industry.
