Hibiscus syriacus L. is a woody plant, which is of value to using in drugs, food, and landscape engineering and as an ornamental plant or fiber material. The Hibiscus syriacus L. leaves consist of many nutritious components and minerals, such as amino acids contents of which for about 13% of Hibiscus Syriacus L.leaves of dried powder. So it can be one of the sources of the amino acids produces, and it can become one of main hairdressing shampoo raw material at the same time since it possesses many surface active agents. This paper consists of three parts. The first and second part deal with studies on the extraction, purification and determinatton of amino acids from Hibiscus Syriacus L. leaves; the third part studies on the preparation of Hibiscus Syriacus L. shampoo.(1) The extraction of amino acids was studied in detail. The single factor experiments, orthogonal design and secondary orthogonal regression revolution method have been used to optimize the processes of extracting amino acids from Hibiscus L.leaves, and the mathematic model between the extracting result and extracting temperature, time, chlorhydric acid concentration, the ratio of liquid to solid have been built.(2) By Analyzing an impact of pH, quantity of active carbon, stirring time, stirring temperature over the decoloration effect and amino acid loss rate, got optimum decoloration handicraft as follow: pH 3.0, active carbon quantity 1g/100ml, temperature 80℃, time 40mins. Here, the amino acid loss rate only had 9.07%, but fading rate can reached 98.21% under technological conditions.(3) The Amino acids were purified by 732 positive ions exchange resin. The optimal technological conditions were found as follow: flow rate 2BV/h, absorbing time 6 hours, pH 2-3 and 3% ammonia solution was used as eluting agent. White amino acid crystal was got by the crystallization and recrystallization procedure.(4)A new method determining amino acid by fluorescence have been built which was based on fluorescence quenching effect by adding amino acid into the reaction system of chitosan and ninhydrin. Linear fit equation was⊿F=6.16+63.5C(mmol/L), and the linear range for determination of amino acid was 0.5~3.0mmol/L, the limit of detection was 0.1 mmol/L. The total content of free amino acid in Hibiscus L.leaves have been determined, coefficient of variation was 0.65% and the recovery of glutamic acid was in the range of 97.5~101.9%.(5) A new method using alternating penalty trilinear decomposition algorithm coupled with excitation-emission matrix fluorometry has been developed for simultaneous resolution and determination of Tyrosine, Phenylalanine and Trytophan. Their correlation coefficients were 0.9987, 0.9995and 0.9993 respectively. The contents of Tyrosine, Phenylalanine and Trytophan in Hibiscus syriacus L. leaves also be determined by this method after being extracted by ultrasonic. The coefficient of variation and the recoveries of the three amino acids were 0.84%, 0.36%, 1.59% and 101.0~92.7%,106.5~93.0%,103.0~95.0% respectively. All that shows it's a simple, fast and credibility method.(6) Using Chinese herbal medicine such as Gleditsia sinensis, tea seed bran, Tuber Fleece flower Root, Aloe, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, and surface active components such as AES, BS-12, K12, to compound Hibiscus Syriacus L.Chinese herbal medicine shampoo.
