The recent methods of separating high-octane solane were reviewed in this paper. Some new research and discussion were carried out on the predecessors. Thus an advanced method and the process of extraction-crystallization combined with column chromatography to purify high-octane solane from its rough material were put forward. Proper extraction solvent (ethyl acetate) and crystallization solvent (methyl cyanide) were selected.Appropriate Tow grades extraction-crystallization apparatus had been designed. Different influencing factors on the extraction crystallization such as solvent ratio, spin-filtration time and column temperature et al. were studied in detail, on which the proper filter-types were derived. Experiment data were related and proper conditions were confirmed, the purity of solane has been brought to 48% from 15~17% by the first extraction crystallization,on which the temperature of the second extraction crystallization has been studied , more than 64% solane has been gained which was provided for the further experiment, the total recovery ratio of solane was 63% in the whole extraction. The color of semi-product was absorbed by active carbon. Column chromatography has been used to purify higher-octane solane, 200~300m Silica gel was selected as fixed phase ,Ethyl acetate and petroleum ether (V:V=1:9) were selected as eluent ,which were gathered up in different section ,then which were crystallized in low temperature , 91% solane elaboration was gained in the process, which has been met needs all over the world. In this paper the method is simple and the energy is low .The results have been provided detail base data for further research in purifying high octane solane.
