At present the photocatalytic technology is largely used for kinds of fields such as air-puration, sewage treatment and so on. However. there is less study of ultrasonic technology and photocatalytic technology into textiles finishing. In this paper, based on the principlc of the strongpoints of these two technologies and the features of textiles, the photocatalysts was pulled into the internal textiles. The results showed that the textiles treated had good antibacterial property. So these two technologies have Broad prospects. In this paper, embedding mechanism of photocatalysts into textile under ultrasonic condition was discussed in detail. Contrast to the results concluded from antibacterial experiments, Conductivity increasement can be used to analyze and evaluate the antibacterial ability of fabric finished by photocatalysts. Many technical matters in the application of nano-Photocatalysts should to be settled in this paper, such as the dispersing situation of Photocatalysts, photocatalytic activity of fabrics finished and immobilization methods on the fabrics. The following are the main research contents of the dissertation. Firstly photocatalysts suitable for application on textile were found out in market, and then dispersed for a certain time by ultrasonic wave to obtain stable experimental solution. Based on conductivity increasement of solution due to photo-oxided chloromethane by photocatalysts, the photocatalytic antibacterial ability were tested and characterized by conductivity methods. It carried out optimum concentration against photocatalytic activity. Promise no effect on battery performance, photocatalysts were successfully anchored into fabrics by ultrasonic slipstream. Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus, gram-negative escherichia coli and fungal candida albicans were used as reprehensive bacteria. The antibacterial properties of nanometer photocatalysts were studied and found out the optimal concentration by the methods of minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC). Contrast the results of conductivity experiments to that of antibacterial; it was a simple method to work out best ultrasonic finishing condition. It concluded that in this paper:(1) According to photo-oxided chloromethane by photocatalysts, the optimal concentration range of photoeatalytic solution was from 0.4 %to 1%, when it had high photocatalytic antibacterial activity.(2) Both conductivity lncreasement and antibacterial experiments came to the same conclusions. So it suggested that conductivity method was an efficient and new approach to research photocatalytic antibacterial activity of photocatalytic matters.(3) The ultrasonic time and frequency had best condation. The increasement of conductivity to photoeatalytic fabrics was obvious in the solution at 40kz and7min.(4) According to GB testing standards, the antibacterial activity of fabrics was above 99%, had good Durability and kept above 90% after washing 50 times.
