Porphyrins is a general term of the homologue and derivative of porphine withsubstituting groups at the outside ring, becoming metalloporphyrins promptly after twoprotons on its nitrogen are replaced by the metal ion. Porphyrins and metalloporphyrinshave extensive applications in a lot of fields, such as biochemistry, medicine, coordinationchemistry, spectroscopy, electrochemistry, photochemistry and catalysis. They can be usedin bionic simulation in catalysis, which is a focus research now.At first tetraphenylporphyrin with different substituting groups in benzene have beensynthesized. Deuteroporphyrinâ…¨dimethylester is prepared from heroin. On the base ofsynthesis of porphyrins, metalloporphyrins are prepared with metallic salt in solvent, Cobalt,Copper, Zinc and Nickel porphyrin are gained. Their structures have been demonstrated byIR, MS and ~1HNMR.The design and setting of the reaction equipment and analysis methods to the productswere showed at first. The catalysis of CoTPP for the oxidation of cyclohexane intocyclohexanone and cyclohexanol with air is taken for instance, The effects of variousparameters, such as reaction temperature, pressure and concentration of catalyst and so on,were explored by means of serious experiments and the optimum conditions were obtained. We also introduced the results of the cyclohexane oxidations with air catalyzedrespectively by Cobalt porphyrin, Copper porphyrin, Zinc porphyrin and Nickel porphyrin, and compared the catalytic activity.
