In this dissertation, a kind of novel higly-reactive epoxidized polyurethane has been prepared successfully, and epoxy adhesive modified by the epoxidized polyurethane also has been studied systemically. The modified adhesive possesses excellent physical mechanical properties and chemical corrosion resistance. The main results are shown as follows:(1) Glycidol was synthesized through the reaction of 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol with alkaline compound at low temperature and the structure of glycidol was determined by IR and 1H-NMR. Some factors on the yield of the reaction have been studied and the reaction condition has also been optimized. The yield was 82.5% at the optimal condition. It shown that the refraction rate ( n D20), epoxide value(Ev) and boiling point of the obtained product were very close to the standard data (CAS No. 556-52-5).(2) The epoxidized polyurethane has been synthesized through the reaction between glycidol and the isocyanate terminated polyurethane resin mentioned above. The structures of epoxidized polyurethane were characterized with IR and 1HNMR. The temperature of the terminated reaction, the thermodynamics stability and the viscosity of the polyurethane during the stockpile were tested. The best result could be got at 70℃and 6h.(3) In order to improve the epoxy resin's capability, the epoxy adhesive modified with epoxidized polyurethane was studied systemically. The effects of some factors, such as the ratio of the epoxidized polyurethane to epoxy resin, the kind and dosage of the curing agent, the solidify condition, the ratio of filling agent to resin and the surface treatment on physical mechanical capability are investigated. Meanwhile, the chemical corrosion resistance were tested and the reasons why properties have improved were analyzed. The modified epoxy adhesive has excellent physical mechanical properties and chemical corrosion resistance: it's tensile shear strength of adhering to brass achieves34.6MPa, and the tensile strength of adhering to 45 carbon steel comes to 56.4MPa.This kind of adhesive is also outstanding in flexibility and impact strength.
