Choose reasonable sizing yarn indexes and scientific evaluation methods is an important work, because sizing yarn qualities affect weaving process as the yarn suffer different stress and strain. It wants to constitute a synthetic evaluating system for sizing yarn. Firstly, on the base of foundation research, it focuses on two problems meet in sizing yarn testing. The process is complex and the result is not accurate when testing sizing distribution, it also require professional. And, so for, sizing yarn abrasion evaluation instrument in general use can't simulate actually. To settle the first problem, it drops Visual Basic to programmed Sizing Effect Soft, which can give quickly and accurate result. The soft has strong practicability. It also develops Complex Sizing Yarn Abrasion Testing Instrument on the base of weaving research. It chooses yarn and metal as its abrasive. Wind the yarn and thread it though the metal to imitate the weave process. From the testing result, it can find that yam-yam fray is more than 81.75%. The instrument some advantages, steady, operating easy and imitate true etc. So it provides a scientific evaluation to sizing yarn evaluation. Finally, it uses the two evaluation method to testing samples. And extract four factors, "mechanic factor", "surface mechanic factor", "appearance factor", "elastic factor", by use Factor Analysis and Relativity Analysis to deal with the testing result. And find that some indexes have relativity. The finish of above work can help the sizing yarn evaluation morn scientific and reasonable.
