Continuous Casting Process Simulation And Quality Control System

The high speed continuous casting is a new technology in order to satisfy the demand of energy-saving and match the CC-DHCR,but the core of high speed continuous casting is high casting speed that induces the increase of distortion of slab.For reducing of acci- dents,the study uses computer to control the process of continuous casting and make it in a good condition.In the study,principle of heat transfer,solidification theory, slag-melting theory are used to analyse the heat and solidification state of process of continuous casting.Based on the heat transfer and solidification mathematical model,the paper analyse the influence of technical parameters to the process of continuous casting including the temperature distr- ibution,shell surface temperature and thickness of shell.This thesis researches on solidification characters of high casting speed billet and the new slab's growing regulation. On the base of the analysis of slabs and gap's forming system in the mould, the designing principle of mould taper is given, the model of taper is built, three different types of curve continuous written, so in accord to different steel, casting speed, the length of the mould, cross-section of the mould, and so on, their own curve of taper change is calculated. According to the requests, the curve is changed into abstractive dimension of the mould inner space.The paper follows the principle of objective temperature- controlling to optimize the water distribution of secondary cooling zone according to the rule of requirement of billet and optimization theory.On the base of gaining the rational water distribution,the relations are obtained through simulating calculation in computer using the established mathematical model.Based on the analysis of technological characteristics of high speed casting and function demands on mold flux, this paper has systematically researched on physicochemical properties of mold flux for high speed casting, including melting and viscous properties, the properties design pattern of mold flux of high speed casting is put forward.
