Pharmaceutical companies in the production process will produce a large number of organic wastewater,these wastewater has complex chemical composition,high salinity,high concentration of organic matter and difficult biodegradable,so the general use of conventional wastewater treatment technology is difficult to achieve satisfactory results.Based on such high COD concentration and poor biodegradability of the wastewater,micro-electrolysis and the electrochemical oxidation process are considered to their treatment or advanced treatment.Biochemical treatment using membrane bioreactor,the membrane bioreactor is a new technology,the integration of bioreactor and membrane separation process,its greatest feature is the use of membrane instead of the traditional biological treatment of the sedimentation tank. First of all,the pollutants biodegrade in the bioreactor,and then mixture flows through the membrane,under pressure difference of both sides of the membrane, water and molecule smaller than the diameter membrane through the membrane, which is treated effluent.Microorganisms such as Macromolecular solute are intercepted,which completed the separation process from effluents,instead of sedimentation tanksMembrane bioreactor has high operation load,high efficiency,strong shock resistant load and good ability to separate water and sludge,moreover,it is conducive to system nitrification,covers small area and its surplus sludge output is small,so membrane bioreactor has aroused widespread concern.In the paper,the combined process of micro-electrolysis or electrochemical oxidation and membrane bioreactor treatment of wastewater was studied.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of combined process.Pharmaceutical intermittent material wastewater was treated by the combined process of chemical coagulation,electrochemical oxidation and membrane bioreaetor.In the conditions of COD as high as 20000 mg·L-1,TP 200 mg·L-1,The indexes of effluent is close to the effluent discharge standards,The water quality of the final effluent can reach to the first grade of "Inter grate Wastewater Discharge Standard"(GB8978-1996),especially treated by the membrane bioreactor adding powder activated carbon.And the process routes for the treatment of pharmaceutical intermittent material wastewater,project results show that the membrane bioreactor played an important role in the whole process. Especially it demonstrated a good capacity of resistance to impact load,and the prevention of impact of sludge bulking on effluent quality.In electrochemical oxidation process of pharmaceutical intermittent material wastewater which dealt with microorganism,using a Ti/RuO2,organics,ammonia and color in solution were removed effectively.The indexes of effluent were lower than the indexes of "effluent standard of primary water contamination in chemical industry".
