Multiband electromagnetic shielding fibers have been prepared through blending spinning with polymer and different inorganic filling materials. The spinnability, physical and mechanical properties, morphological structure, crystal structure and orientation structure of the fibers were studied. In addition, The conductivity,shielding of X-ray,reflectivity attenuation ratio of the fibers were researched and discussed respectively.The results showed that with the increase of the content of the filler, the fluidity,compatibility and the spinnability of the blending fiber were decreased. But incorporation of coupling agent and the rise of temperature made the spinnability of fiber improved. With the enhancing of the content of the filler, the mechanical properties of the fiber declined, while the crystallinity and orientation degree of the fibers rose. With the draw ration increased, the breaking elongation reduced and the breaking tenacity,oriented degree,crystallinity raised. The crystallinity increased firstly at the low draw ration, but with the draw ration raised the crystallinity of the fiber is no more increased obviously. Moreover, with the increase of the content of the metal powders, the conductivity of the fiber increased. The conductivity reached the highest point at particular dot. After this dot, the conductivity of the fibers did not increase. The shielding effect of fibers containing the Fe,Ba and Co to X-ray is good and shielding ratio raised with the increased of content of the metal powder. The different fibers with various fillers had different reflectivity attenuation ratio to microwave. The metal powder and ferrite had benifit effects. With the increase of the content of adsorbing agent, the reflectivity attenuation ratio to microwave became well. The kinds of Polymer may affect the reflectivity attenuation ratio. The PA6 was better compared with PP. The compound fibers had the better reflectivity attenuation ratio to microwave than the single one. And the band is more wide.
