The coal spontaneous combustion is one of mine's natural catastrophes. It not only wastes the coal resources, but also releases a great deal of poisonous and harmful gas, causing environmental pollution and damage to miners' health. Therefore, how to dispose the coal spontaneous combustion is a current problem needed to resolve urgently and currently.On the basis of domestic and foreign literature and former research, this paper, firstly, analyzes the natural conditions and geological feteatures of Xiaolongtan open-pit coal mine. Secondly, it obtains the rules of coal spontaneous combustion based on its simulated experiment. Then, in accordance with the shortage of current adopted water fire-extinguishing method, it puts forwards gel-injection fire-extinguishing method, and through analysis, summarizes its features and fire-extinguishing mechanism which is mainly characterized by its rapid heat absorption and tempreture reduction. Finally, it shows the excellent fire-extinguishing effect through tests on the field. |
