Vanadium complexes with sulfur-containing ligands have received much attention for their biological and medicine activities.While vanadium complexes containing ONS ligands are important part of this kind,which have potential mimic functions of vanadium haloperoxidases.Recent studies show that these vanadium complexes exihibit good antimoebic activities so as to may become a candidate of MNZ.Our work is to choose and synthesize ONS schiff base ligands,then prepare their vanadium complexes, what is more important is growing proper single crystals.After that, characterize them by IR, elemental analysis,UV spectra , X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis.In the end, TG-DTA analysis is carried out on vanadium complexes1,the interaction between vanadium complexes 1,3,4 and ct-DNA is studied respectively.Reviews: Two important kinds of vanadium complexes(e.g. vanadium complexes containing ONS,NNS ligands and vanadium nitrogenase with rich V—S coordination environment) are reviewed.Synthesis,structures and related properties studies of vanaium complexes containing ONS,NNS ligands is introduced.Then each kinds of model complexes of vanadium nitrogenase is introduced ,besides,the nitrogen-fixing mechanism is also discussed elementarily.The preparation of the ligands:many thiocarbohydrazide schiff base ligands are designed and synthesized,including monoschiff base,symmetric bischiff base,and asymmetric bischiff base,as well as thiosemicarzide schiff base,most of them are classified as ONS ligands and have good reaction activities,also,can be dissolved in organic solvents. The preparation of vanadium complexes: Use the above ligands to react with vanadium precursors in solutions in order to obtain proper single crystals fit for the X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis.Five crystals of vanadium complexes are obtained by the evaporation of solvents and the disffusion with diethyl ether.Structural characterization: The ligands and their vanadium complexes are chacterized by IR, elemental analysis,UV spectra, fluorescent spectra,X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis. The exact structures of vanadium complexes 1~4 are confirmed.Properties studies:Vanadium complex 1 is studied by TG-DTA,besides, the interaction between vanadium complexes 1,3,4 and ct-DNA is studied respectively by UV spectra, cyclic voltammetry,fluorescent spectra and viscosity measurements.
