Recently, self-assembly technology for films has introduced more and more interest. In this paper, air-water interfacial silica film was successfully prepared by Sol-Gel method with tetraethyl orthosilicatem (TEOS) as precursor. According to the experimental results, the optimum ratio of the materials was obstained. Characterizations of X-ray diffraction (XRD), fourier-transform infrared spectrography(FT-IR), thermal gravity and differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), scanning electron microscope (SEM) ,transmission electron microscope (TEM)and energy dispersive spectra (EDS) et.al were used to research the structures, properities, impact factors et.al. The main contents are summarized as following:(1) Mesoporous silica films were prepared with cationic surfactants as template. The reaction mechanism and the effect of surfactans in the assembled progress were studied.(2) Also we investigate the effets of surafactant structure and the pH value of the system on the fabrication, and select the best condition of fabricating the silica films at the air-water interface.(3) The influences of different conditions to reactions were discussed, such as the kinds of surfactants and pH value of the system. The formation mechanism of the haracteristic morphologies of the films was also deeply investigated.SiO2 / TiO2 air-water interfacial composite thin films were prepared through the same method. The same characterization methods as the above were applied to investigate the components, morphologies, thermal, electrionic and Photocatalytic properities.et.al.
