With the development of stock raising, the use of veterinary drugs has been greatly increased. With a wide antibacterial specrum, tetracycline antibiotics are used as feed additives for the treatment of bacterial diseases and promotion of growth. However, antibiotic residuals in animal derived food because of antibiotic abuse do harm to people's health, so it is focused in the worldwide. As we entered the world trade organization, antibiotic residuals have greatly affected the imports and exports trades and the benefit of our country. In order to monitor the residues of tetracyclines antibiotics in animal derived food and assure the food safety, it is necessary to develop sensitive, accurate and relible methods of antibiotic residuals. We developed two analytical methods including high-performance liquid chromatography and high-performance capillary electrophoresis to determine the tetracyclines residues in animal derived food based on the literatures all over the world and the residual analysis experience of our laboratory.1. The structure, physical and chemical properties, antibacterial effect of tetracyclines antibiotics was detailed introduction, as well as their residues in animal derived food doing harm to people's health.2. The paper reviewed research status of tetracycline residuals in anminal derived food from scholars all over the world.3. Solid phase extraction technique was used to pretreatment milk sample, pretreatment conditions were investigated and optimized from some factors such as extraction solvent, extraction cartridges, the types and volume of eluent. The tetracyclines were detected by high-performance liquid chromatography and the target compositions detected in blank milk sample were confirmed qualitatively by tandem mass spectrometry, method developed was studyed, and the result was satisfacrory.4. Capillary zone electrophoresis method was established to separate and detect residuals of five antibiotics in raw pork which including minocycline, tetracycline, chlortetracycline, metacycline and doxycycline.Sodium carbonate solution was choosed as sepatation system, acetonitrile was used for inproving separation, and Na2EDTA for improving tailed peaks.Solid phase extraction technique was used to pretreatment pork samples as well.Methodology was studyed from the aspects including linear range, detection, precision, repeatability, recoveries and so on,the result...
