Along with the development of mineral industry engineering, the technique of our country's open pit mine makes the significant progress, but there are still a lot of accidents, which cloud bring great damages to our nation. Among these accidents, the instabilities of slope take the biggest ratio. Analyzing the stability of the slope and taking some reasonable controls to the broken slope can avoid or reduce the instability and breaking down the slope. Therefore, analysis of the slope's stability is of great significance. The slope of Malanzhuang open pit mine was studied according to the research model of field investigation, establishment of calculation model and stability analysis of rock slope. The design software 5.0 of geotechnical engineering developped by Itasca Consulting Group, Inc was utilized in the analysis. The slope stabilities of 8 calculational sections were analyzed from aspects of shear and shear strain, safety factor, displacement vector and envelope of failure layer by FLAC method of the strength reduction theory in Malanzhuang open pit mine. The development tendency of slopeslide is forecasting. Moreover, the fuzzy method was also applied for comparision and verification. The calculation results indicate: the stability of slopes of section B-B and E-E is better and the safety factors are not less than 1.20; the stability of slope of section D-D is worse and the safety factor is 0.97; the other 5 sections are worse and the safety factor are from 1.01 to 1.08. There is slide danger in the north slope and the southeast slope which are needed to be consolidated.Gray system theory is used to analyze the factors that affect the slope stability. The result shows that water infiltration factors, construction factors and geological factors have the greatest impact on the slope stability, which is more in line with the real situation. The control measures are put forward according to these factors mentioned above. To the north slope, curtain grouting measure is needed to use because of large amount of water from the impact of river water. And to the southeast slope, presplitting buffering blasting technology is suggested to use because of a large of smooth plane from the impact of geological factors.
