Steel slag is the byproduct of iron and steel producing,its quantity is about 10%~15% of the steel output. With the increasing demand of our national steel and the development of steel industry, the output of steel slag increases gradually.Utilization of steel slags as resource materials is very important for preventing the pollution of the environment and promoting the continous development of steel industry.At present,molten steel slag was treated by impinging much water for granulation.This treatment is mainly used for producing a raw material of the cement,aggregate and the roadbed without any recovery of its much sensible heat.So far, the technology of heat recovery from steel slag is juvenility.Each method has its excellence and defect,but each method's core is making the steel slag grained and the heat recovery after granulation,which make its particle size fit for various use of steel slag.Heat Transfer Analysis and Calculation of the Process of Gas Blowing for Molten Steel Slag is a kind of method that making use of computer.The adoption of this new technology can diminish the financial resources and material resources needed in the experiment to the floor, and gained more realistic results. The method that using FLUENT to resolve molten slag cooling process not having seen news report at present in home and abroad.The physical and mathematic model of slag granule has been established.By using FLUENT,the cooling process of slag granule is numerically simulated. The solidification process of slag particle with the diameter of 0.7 mm 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm,7 mm at different wind speed, different cooling nitrogen temperature has been simulated,the distribution of temperature field and the move law of phase interface are obtained.The law of Time-slag particle temperature in different bed is studied.The effects of wind speed, cooling nitrogen temperature on the solidification rate were studied.The results can provide good references for the numerical simulation of phase change problem and the design of the sensible heat recovery device of steel slag.
