The paper is focused on the study of natural hydrophobic mine Molybdenite,Silica,Calcite,Mica,Talc,Kerosene oil and Diesel oil firstly.The interface thermodynamic behavior involving Vander Waals force,hydrophobic attraction force,hydration hydration exclusive force were investigated systemically by calculating the interfacial interactive free energy of a series of interfaces such as minerals and water,collectors and water,minerals and bubble,minerals and collectors in the molybdenite floatation system. Moreover,combined with flotation experiments,a kind of new molybdebite collector-CSU31-was developed.The best conditions using CSU31 in copper -molybdenum paragenesis ore flotation,single-type molybdenite flotation and oil agglomeration flotation of tailings were got though small-scale experiments,amplified continuous separation experiments and industrial experiments to Duobaoshan copper ores in Heilongjiang Province,Tangjiaping molybdenum ores in Henan Province and the tailings of some molybdenum mine in Zhejiang Province.The ideal flotation indexes has been obtained.The results show that Vander Waals attractive force and hydrophobic attractive force exist in each minerals and water interface,the hydrophobic attractive force in molybdenite and water interface is remarkably weaker than that in gangue and water interface.The hydrophobic attractive force between molecule of collectors and water is the main force which causes the collectors to disperse in pulp.The strong hydrophobic attractive force between molybdenite and bubble interface is the basic reason which causes the natural flotability of molybdenite.In water solution,the Van der Waals force between molybdenite and collectors is attractive,but it is not the main force between them,the main factor resulting in collection is hydrophobic attractive force caused by the Lewis acid-base interaction.In molybdenite floatation system, the floatation experimental results show that the adsorption intension of collector on molybdenite surface is not the crucial factor,while the dispersing capability of collector in water phase and its selectivity for minerals floatation are more important,CSU31 which is better than kerosene and diesel,is a kind of new molybdenite collector.In the treatment of Duobaoshan copper-molybdenum paragenesis ores,CSU31 was chosen as collector, according to the process-flotation separation of molybdenum and copper, enhanced flotation of copper,separation of copper-molybdenum bulk concentrate and table choiceness of molybdenum rough concentrate,under relatively coarse grinding fineness,the grade and recovery of copper concentrate obtained in amplified continuous separation experiments were 28.26%and 92.60%respectively,while that of molybdenum were 48.55%and 70.65%separately.The process scheme-coarse grinding and roughing,then fine grinding and choiceness-was employed for Tangjiaping single-type molybdenum ores.Using CSU31 as collector,the full recovery of minerals containing molybdenum can be realized in the condition of relatively coarse grinding fineness and low reagent dosage.Compared with the traditional collector-kerosene,the reagent dosage of CSU31 only was one third,and the recovery of molybdenum was up to over 4%.The grade of molybdenum concentrate reached 51.17%and the total recovery was 90.43%.
