Photo-acid Generator(PAG) can decompose and generate acid under external excitation such as light,heat,radial etc.Because the acid from PAG can be controlled by external condition,PAGs can be abroadly used in many fields,such as photoresist,computer to plate(CTP), polymerization.Recently the study of 4,6-bis(trichloroethyl)-1,3,5-triazines as PAGs has attracted more and more attention.In this paper,a series of PAGs have been designed and further prepared.According to literatures as far as we know,include a novel PAG 1-[4'-[4,6-bis (trichloromethyl)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl][1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl]-O-acetyloxime ethanone(PAG-TZ4).Such an organic compound possessing a D(electron-donator)-Π(conjugate)-A(electron-acceptor) structrure has higher photon efficiency.In this work,these compounds' synthesis route,methods and conditions are investigated.All compounds' structures are confirmed by IR,1HNMR and etc.More researches are foucused on evaluations about above PAGs' solubility,ultraviolet absorption,fluorescence emission spectra and acid-forming performance under exposure after being dissolved in CH3CN.The results show that all PAGs have good solubility in common organic solvents,substituents influence on the PAGs' maximum absorption wavelength and fluorescence emission spectra.Further more,according to the method ascertained in our laboratory, their acid-forming performance in acetonitrile under irradiation at direct excitation and indirect excitation using photo- sensitizer are measured. The results indicate that the PAG-TZ4 containing typical D-Π-A structure have higher acid-forming efficiency,so it can be hopeful to be applied in imaging systems.The optimization of geometrical structure of four PAGs was carried out by semi- emperical molecular orbital method.The results showed the geometric structures,and the structure of bond length,dihedral angle, dipole moment,total energy,frontier molecular orbital were investigated.
