With the help of the novel theories and technologies, the combination of chromatographic separation and mass spectrum characterization provides us with powerful tools for the resolution of analytical problems on the modernlization of Chinese traditional medicine, biology and environmental science, etc.. At present, the qualitative and quantitative analysis technology of pesticide remnants in agricultural products has made very big progress, but regarding Chinese medicine complex system, regarding many kinds of agricultural remnant ingredients with the same column, fast, accurate and high flux analysis also waits for further studying. With the development of instrumental techniques, the two-way chromatographic datas can be easily received so as to provide a platform to chemometrics that can resolve much more useful informations than analytical instruments. The thesis starts from the actual problem. In order to exploit the useful informations provided by chromatograph and GC/MS, the thesis establishes the qualitative andquantitative analysis methods for determining soil and pesticide remnants in Chinese tradition medicines. The technology of chromatograph and mass spectrum coupled with chemometrics was used to conduct the good separation research to the difficult separation ingredients that have the same retention times.The first chapter is an introduction. It expoundes the harm of pesticide residue as well as the processing and the examination technological development tendency, the soil pollution situation, the value of overseas to soil pesticide remnants and the soil pesticide remnants examination significance. It also introduces the Chinese medicine development, the existence question of traditional Chinese medicine industrial development as well as the examination significance of traditional Chinese medicine agriculture remnants.In the second chapter, we adopt glass column and hydrogen flame ionization detector, use the temperature program, in 35 minutes, 15 kinds of agricultural remnants have got a good separation with qualitative information, and the they have been carried on the quantitative determination by the external standard law. It may realize in the qualitative and quantitative analysis of many kinds of micro pesticide residues in Chinese medicine at the same time .The fourth chapter, we introduce the many-way data characteristics that are provided by spectrum and tchromatograph information, we have outlined the chemometrics development, elaborated the principle of direct viewing inferential reasoning type evolution characteristic projection (HELP), carried on the actual separation and explained to the remnants that are difficult separated. It explaines the HELP method has one whole set program from the background deducts to the nonsingular resolution, and it can carry on the qualitative analysis directly to the completely unknown complex system.
