Twin Roll Strip Casting as a frontal technique of metallurgical region, it is focused have many advantages, such as short process, low energy consumption, high speed, low costs, but it is not completely successful for steel production by using this method. The Casting process controling rang is limited during twin roll strip casting, if the rang is ranaway, the quality of strip will be badly destroy. Therefore, the technique need computer to simulate solidification processing, and optimize process parameters to direct production. This text chose the solidification of twin roll casting strip as subject, and used continous casting part of FEA software combing with C procedures to study the effect rule of different process on microstructure. The results including:1. During the twin roll strip casting, the heat transfer is the important factor of affecting the temperature field and solidification. The heat transfer mechanism and the main affecting factors of twin roll strip casting was discussed, and bulit the general heat transfer differential and difference eguation. The crystal latent heat was treated.2. The effect of pouring temperature, cooling intensity and pulling speed on primary dendrite radius and secondary dendrite arm spacing were simulated by using continuous module combing with C procedures. And the effect rule of different process on primary dendrite radius and secondary dendrite arm spacing were obtained.3. The effect of pouring temperature, cooling intensity and pulling speed on crystal grain were simulated by using continuous module combing with C procedures. And the effect rule of different process on crystal grain were obtained.4. The best simulation processes were obtained by contrasting the crystal grain simulation results. The processes including: pouring temperature was 1590℃, cooling intensity was 5000 W/m2?K and pulling speed was 40m/min。5. The result correctness was obtained by contrasting the simulation result and the experiment result. The simulation results have some help to direct production.
