Kneading can be divided into intermittent and continuous kneading machine. Intermittent kneading machine contains small kneading machine, arms kneading machine, refining machine, and so on. Continuous kneading machine also has many types, such as single-screw extruder, twin-screw extruder, Buss Kneader kneading machine, the M-P-kneading machine, ZSK double helix kneading machine. Compared to intermittent kneading, there is high production efficiency, pollution-free, and many other advantages in continuous kneading machine.Kneading machine is important carbon process equipment. The damping baffle plays a key role in the kneading machine. In original machine, the damping baffle was adjusted by artificial way. This way increased labor intensity of frontline workers, also that kneading effect was not enough stability. With the development of modern control technology, servo control technology has been very mature and it is able to conduct a real-time control system regulation. Kneading effect is decided by the opening of damping baffle:when kneading motor current increases, the opening of damping baffle increased, but decreased. Based on SIEMENS SIMATICS7-300 PLC, the system can be entire controlled and adjustment. STEP 7--this software is used to control damping baffle real-time by programming, ultimately realizing the material uniform. In this paper, based on the transfer function of servo control, current sensor and displace-ment sensor signal was input PLC controller. To achieve adjusting damping baffle really-time, a hydraulic station was used as power. Computer software (SIMULINK) is used to simulate servo control system, and then we will optimize system parameters.
