CNC machining simulation is an emerging technology industry, which is the NC machining process in a virtual environment mapping, it can effectively applied in testing the correctness of NC programs and CNC talents. A comprehensive numerical simulation system can simulate the powerful processing capabilities, significant savings in learning costs, improve efficiency, has a good practical significance. Therefore, the numerical simulation technology has become a predictable process performance, product quality and processing efficiency is an effective way.This dissertation first analyzes the numerical control of the overall structure of the virtual simulation system and simulation system development platform, through the introduction of virtual manufacturing technologies, the concepts of numerical simulation technology, analysis of the pros and cons of NC simulation system at home and abroad, made the significance of this research project; and then focus on the key technologies of system theory: system development, technical support for graphics - openGL and system development platform for C + +6.0, MFC class library features, made the system used in the modeling approach, based on triangulation geometric grid modeling method, and thus established a machine tool fixture, workpiece and tool models gives the car a virtual machining simulation examples.CNC Lathe running tests show that the simulation system: Virtual Lathe Machining Simulation System has good usability, interactivity, and 3D graphics processing capability, can effectively verify the correctness of programs, and be able to compare different procedures for processing applications the same part of the pros and cons of instruction . Of course, there are still some shortcomings of this system, for example, complex parts processing capabilities, CNC network simulation there is still pending after further study.
