Assembly Sequences Planning(ASP) plays an important role in product exploitation. The results of ASP, rational or irrational, have direct effect on product assemblability, assembly cost and assembly quality. For resent years, the study on ASP has become more and more important in the correlately enterprises and academes.The thesis introduces the development and actuality of assembly technology in and abroad; summarize the ASP's development and newly achievement. Based on this review, it makes the thoughts and methods of this thesis and designs the ASP system's modules:the module of extracting assembly information,the module of ASP based on disassembly method,the module of optimizing assembly sequences,the module of ASP based on Genetic Algorithm(GA).For extracting assembly information, this dissertation writes program by SolidWorks API interface function. For ASP, the disassembly sequence and path which are generated via three direction interference matrixs are computed and processed in the system by taking the descriptions of motion states and transformation matrix as its basal principle. After the disassembly feasibility checking according to collision detection, the disassembly sequence and path are reversed to corresponding assembly sequence and path so that the whole assembly planning is implemented.Because ASP is a nondeterministic polynomial(NP) combination optimization baffling problem on essence, this dissertation trys to introduce the ASP based on GA theory. First use of the overall interference matrix to conduct a feasibility judgement, and then introduce the function of direction change,contact connection matrix and fastening connection matrix to filtrate the optimal assembly sequence.The ASP system was developed by using the software of SolidWorks and Visual Basic 6.0. It is validated to have practicability by the giving machine component.
