Safety is the permanent topic of civil aviation. Human being is the key factor of safety. Human factor is the reason for 80% of modern aviation accidents, and flight crew factor reaches 60% for aviation accidents. The need for pilots is increasing rapidly at airlines, which causes the training pressure increasing at the same time. To analyses the human factors in aviation safety area is quite important and necessary. This paper aims on the possibility of using HFACS in the analyses of human factor in flight training. The method is to analyze some typical incidents happened in flight training, and then compare the results of HFACS for analyzing and that of incidents exploring reports. In this paper, 3 incidents have been analyzed by using of HFACS. These incidents include Xiaoying-500 aircraft unstable flight and traffic conjunction due to unlock of electricity gyro, PA44-180 landing with gear unreleased, Cessna-172 scratches the runway edge lights during taxi. They involve 3 Type of aircrafts, 3 flight phases, and lots of causes. The analyzing founds out: A) 16 causes which caused the incidents, averagely 5.3 causes for each incident. B) Technical error is the most common cause, it has been found out in every incident. C) From the structure of HFACS point of view, the percentage of the layers decrease gradually from the layer of unsafe behavior (7 times, 43.75%), the layer of leading cause of unsafe behavior (3 times,18.75%),and the layer of unsafe supervising (4 times, 25%) to the layer of organization (2 times, 12.25%). This suggests that the unsafe behavior itself is the most important cause of incidents.conclusion: A) HFACS method is good for management and easy for use; B) the result of HFACS analyzing reduced the HF factor in the process of analyzing, which produce a more trustable result. Additionally, it provides the benefit of C) reduced work hours, time and costs. So, HFACS is a good choice for incidents analyzing.
