In recent years, as the light, high strength, corrosion, construction convenient, etc of carbon fiber materials, carbon fiber reinforced concrete structures in civil engineering field has become a hot issue. Reinforcement in the actual project, the original structure has to withstand a certain load, so reinforced structure is in the state of the secondary load. In this paper, the death cell of ANSYS is used to simulate the secondary load. This article introduces the basic theory of finite element analysis, focusing on the strengthening of reinforced concrete beams, concrete and carbon fiber of the constitutive, failure criteria and the selection unit. Then, using ANSYS to establish a carbon fiber reinforced concrete beam three-dimensional finite element model.Simulate and analyze the strengthened beams, and compare with existing experimental results. The mechanical properties of its quantitative analysis which verify the reliability of finite element method. Obtained reinforcement ratio, the amount of carbon fiber reinforcement, anchoring, and the initial load on the beam reinforcement effect. Verify the reliability of finite element method.
