Cutter suction dredger Dredging is a Dredging tool which is commonly used, Cutter is the core component when it works. Design and analysis of the reamer cutter force calculation have two methods. The first method is the analysis of the real cutting process, it will be involved in more complex stress and parameters, which inevitably will use the appropriate method of approximation, simplify calculation model, operation cumbersome and rarely used in actual production. The other way is a simple empirical formula, estimate the effect of force on the cutter. But the values are too rough, and have no theoretical basis. Currently, Most of the designer basis of empirical formula, in reference to international standards, design and manufacture the cutter knife, combined with more practical experience, according to the strength of the largest design and manufacturing.The article about water saturated with the flat of two dimensional cutting theory applied to the gallows of the analysis and from the 3-d graphics of the knife, hooded to the execution of a knife for example, create a model, the use of finite element analysis software ANSYS further visual its force. The main contents summarized as follows:(1)Author combine 2d cutting theory build a mathematical model, through the analysis and discussion in the course of cutting blade thickness and cutting the effective width, cutting of trends, Comparison the change of cutting parameters changes cutting ability, reamer design and manufacture of calculated ideal package should be selected angle, cutting angle size. At last choose the optimum structure.(2) According to the parameters of cutter, create the optimal cutter certain conditions (no teeth) of the physical model (without teeth) in the PRO/E software; increase teeth on this basis, and improve the physical model.(3) Realize the transformation of the Three-dimensional tooth cutter model, import the software, meshing, loading and analyzing; analyse and calculate the load situation that cutter structure withstand. Finally, visual analysis should be further affected by the force; and the results that analysis and calculation are reasonable and credible.
