In order to ensure the normal operation of power systems, power system uses a lot of control; protection, automatic devices, emergency lighting and other equipment, and most of these devices require DC power supply, so the DC power supply for the continued reliable and stable operation of power system security plays a vital role. DC power system of substation relay protection, automatic devices and the basic guarantee for the normal operation of circuit breakers, and its continued reliable operation of the system to prevent damage, accidents, serious damage to the expansion and equipment for the important role to play. How to strengthen the DC power system monitoring and fault analysis, and take appropriate measures to solve the power system needs to one of the issues. Therefore, the DC power system of substation design and study on reliability has important significance.In view of the present DC power supply of substation system's development request, to the new generation substation DC power supply system's function request, the principle of work and the system composition has carried on the discussion.
