Tailing spound project is a big complex system. Whether it in a good condition have closed relationship with lower people's life and property.Then tailing accident happend mostly caused by water. So it neccerary to sudy on how the water level of tailing spound make a affect to the stability of dam.First,the auther collected relative data about the basic feature of phosphogypsum tailing dam of Yunnan Yuntianhua International Chemical Co., Ltd branch office and read literature about connection between water content and soil properties of tailings.And then the changing situation for different water lever of tailing spound is obtined by analysing the seepage rule of tailings dam.The project item of phosphogypsum tailing dam of Yunnan Yuntianhua International Chemical Co., Ltd branch office is combined.Useing Geo—Studio (Geotechnical Engineer sofware) to anlysis the seepage line under various water lever of tailing spound and the changing suituation about stability of tailings dam.Last,Grad early warning have be use to seepage line warning of tailings dam by referencing grad early warning of geologic hazard.And it is used for seepage line warning of Yunnan Yuntianhua International Chemical Co., Ltd branch office tailing dam.Meanwhile,in the base of survey data,finite element method is used to analysis seepage and Swedish arc method, simplified Bishop method is applied to calculate the minimum safety factor of the dam.The conclusions of this paper as follow:(1)Seepage line is increased to 2.5m, the stability coefficient is less than 1.10 what does not satisfy the requirements under flood conditions,so it were red early warning what means the occurrence of major accidents;if not yellow warning, indicating general accident; (2)Seepage line is improve to 1.5m, then the stability coefficient is less than 1.05.It does not satisfy the operational requirements under special conditions.In this case red warning is used what means huge accidents may happen.
