As a new technology,ultrasonic testing technology is one of the elastic wave test methods. Its theory foundation is built on the propagation theory of solid medium elastic wave. This method transmits ultrasonic to the medium in artificially excitation way, receives ultrasonic wave medium modulated by the physical properties in certain space distance, through the observation and analysis of ultrasound velocity, amplitude, frequency and so on acoustic parameters in different mediums. A series of related problem about geotechnical engineering is to be solved nicely. Acoustic wave transmission method is mature technology, but pile foundation quality evaluation standards also has some problems which need to be further researched.Based on the practical detection and relying on engineering examples, the author make sorting, statistics, analysis and research of many detection data sorting and researching the quality of pile foundation identification method of application. The current criterion method can not carry out quantitative analysis for pile quality and can also be difficult to make further qualitative analysis for Pile body defect. In view of the above problems, this article presents a new quality identifying method -- relative strength index method by making comprehensive analysis of various acoustic parameters which impact pile quality, combined with engineering examples of pile foundation inspection. The method designs and works out relative strength index of acoustic sound velocity, and amplitude, frequency through Matlab language, which reflects strength and stability for the quality of pile body concrete more exactly. Combined with engineering examples of pile foundation inspection, making analysis of pile foundation by using the new criterion law - relative strength index method, the analysis result has its advantages compared the criterion of the past; Further make analysis of basic principle about ultrasonic transmission method to detect strength and integrity of pile foundation and make comprehensive analysis of various acoustic parameters which impact pile quality, combined with engineering examples of pile foundation inspection; In pile foundation inspection by ultrasonic transmission method, crooked tube will cause ranging change which affects the quality of concrete judgment because acoustic parameters sound velocity has close with ranging. The author makes analysis and summary of the problem about the bending tube, combining with the project examples.
