As we all know, paint shop is the shop which cause the most energy consumption and the most "three wastes" in automobile manufacturing industry. To paint operation,how to control the pollution of "three wastes" and reduce energy consumption is an eternal topic. Today automotive industry are developing fast, it seems to be more significance to research.them.This thesis studies production line process design,layout and production running of SGMW。And the purpose is to look for approaches and methods to meet national laws about cleaner production, as also to reduce operating costs and improve product quality, ultimately to improve the competitiveness of enterprises in the market. The most widely adopted method of study are the chart, checklists, lessons learned, observation and statistical analysis methods. The purpose is to design production lines with imported GM advanced resources, integration SGMW technology, equipment maintenance, modification and production experiences. And design detail works are done by units well-known design institute and strive to design the advanced paint shop with SGMW features renowned at home and abroad.The main results of this thesis has several aspects. first, some effective energy-saving technology and equipment are found by studyng materials, process equipment etc. Second, improved quality and efficiency, reduced operating costs by optimization of the layout, smooth logistics. Third, find method to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs and investment by effective operation management. Fourth, to ensure that human factors engineering and waste management, to carry out national law about cleaner production.
