Biomass energy is an ideal renewable resource, the development and utilization of technology on biomass energy is considered the most effective means of reducing emissions, in a variety of ways of alternating power sources, Biomass briquette and supported stoves are most suitable to our country's conditions. The Party and the government give high priority for the development and utilization of biomass energy, which attached to household biomass stoves development opportunities. So that more and more people pay more attention to the development of the industry.In this paper, through the analysis of the development and technical problems of the household-type (small) biomass gasifier both at home and abroad , Selecting the type of fixed bed updraft gasifier; According to the principle of combustion science, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, do a study of the biomass gasifier and the structure of the wind system design and optimization.The main researches of this paper are as follows:1. The household-type (small) biomass updraft gasifier which was designed in this paper is be able to meet the various requirements of common straw gasification. The structure of the gasifier is Integrated, Gasification gas will not going through the pipeline but is burned at the top of the stove directly, solved the problems that the tar is easy to plug the pipeline and the cooker in the structure of cooker separated from stove. At the same time, the furnace is also equipped with secondary air system, which make the air and gasification gas fully mixed in the combustion chamber, to ensure full combustion of gasification gas, increased the thermal efficiency of the stove and utilization of gasification gas.2. According to the analysis of material balance, energy balance and momentum balance, this paper developed the mathematical model of existing wind devices, Through the CFD software to simulate the internal flow field, so that we can analysis the wind system from the theoretical to determine the structure parameters of the device. Based on the analysis of simulation results, and optimize its to design a ring wind installations. Simulating the internal flow field of the ring wind system by CFD software , analysis the simulation results, as a results of the wind to achieve a planar.3. The experimental studied on the effect of gasification of the gasifier by the means of boiling water, and compared with the existed gasifier. Based on the results of compared analysis, this furnace increased utilization of the gasification gas and the thermal efficiency.
