In redistribution the distribution network load or wire transfer service, the usual practice in most cities will be power off in the process of redistribution the load. Being power off in the process inconvenience residents' lives. Combined ring operation of distribution network is a way to solve the problem. But, it will have great impact current and steady current in the combined ring operation of distribution network that will exerted significant influence to the safe and stable operation of power grids. Aiming at the characteristics, combined with the characteristics of Sanmenxia grid, we put forward a simplified model of the distribution network combined ring operation, and we deduce the impact current and steady current in the combined ring operation in this paper. We also find out the factors that affect the combined ring current in points on both sides of the voltage difference, in the trend of a detailed analysis to find the appropriate adjustment method. The transformer can be adjusted back stalls and reactive power compensation device to vote, reducing the combined ring current, to conform to operational requirements. In the more complete study of the combined ring operation, the distribution network combined ring operation in part of Sanmenxia area distribution lines was calculated and the actual verification.
