The Composite Design Of Modern Urban Square Study

City Square is designed to meet the need of city people's various social life, which is surrounded by buildings,roads,landscape,topography and other enclosure, from a variety of soft and hard landscape composition, use of pedestrian traffic means, with certain ideas and themes the size of node-based city outdoor public space. Has the public,open and permanent three characteristics. City Square is a traditional research topic, this paper attempts to study the composite design of the modern urban square ,with different ways of thinking and approach. Through some of the cases at home and abroad ,we can find that the concept of composite has been involved in architecture, urban planning and urban public spaces and indoor environments design, this article will give some new ideas about the composite design of the modern urban square.In the West, plaza culture has always been run through in the city's building , you can say that they have a deep and rich experience in building and square design . For China, with the rapid development of the urban planning ,there is a large extent that the square design has the problem of "take-ism" , not only failed to local conditions, but did not make the design to keep up with the times, these issues are telling us that we need to look at the need to explore a designing road, which really belong to the modern urban square with Chinese characteristics.In this paper, the current modern urban square design exist some of the "image projects" and "achievement projects" phenomena, as well as single function,scaling large-scale,low utilization of public issues,summaize the trend of modern urban square, proposed the concept of the composite design , and from the composite of the land, the composite of the transport, the composite of the function , the composite of the space, the composite of the ecological environment system, as well as history, culture and other aspects , try to improve the problem of some "face project" trend of City Square, and form a composite way of modern urban plaza design , provide a frame of reference for the innovative and sustainable development of modern urban plaza design. This paper through the analog design of Wu Han Luxiang Plaza and some practices of Jiaozhou City Square in Qingdao, to build the concept of composite design, thereby enhancing the composite design of the morden urban plaza,trying to create a city square with composite function, diverse space, and pleasant scale, satisfying the people's growing material and spiritual and cultural needs in the largest exent, which will stimulate the city and the community economic development.
