Digitized substation will for our country substation automation operation and management have profound influence and great changes in the Chinese intelligent power grid construction is the important constituent, in the economic and technical aspects are significant. Protection device as substation within the main second equipment, its function and performance have been extensive concern, with digital electronic instrument transformer substations and network communication within the secondary circuits using, especially electronic transformer relative to assolenoid style transformer many merits, this will bring relay protection technology of the leap development. However, digitized substation, as a new field, electronic transformer and network communication secondary circuit USES is the new technology application, is still in the early, their own characteristics and stability of protection device of impact is not very clear, so it is necessary to further study. Tianjin ChenFu 220kV power company implementation of digital substation project and electronic transformer and intelligent switch technology, total site using quadratic equipment and network communication, the total IEC61850 secondary circuit by standard. This study is ChenFu 220kV digitized substation project follow-up work, specific electronic transformer characteristics and communication channel of protection device, is to study on the impact of further deepening, front work to further promote the popularization and application of digital substation has important significance. This article through to 1. Electronic transformer characteristics and to protection device influence; 2. Digital protection and traditional protection coexistence of coordination work q.3 communication loop characteristics and the influence of protection device three aspects, thorough research, analyzes the application of electronic instrument transformer protection impacts.The main achievements made in this study are as follows:1. The simulation experiment, research and application of electronic transformer characteristics of protection device of the output and sensitivity, selectivity and reliability indexes were studied.2. Research principle, many manufacturers to cooperate to use electronic instrument transformer protection effects, especially line current differential protection simulation research, line one side using digital protection and traditional protection coordination work problems.3. Research the digitized substation inside process performance of communication network layer of protection device, and the influence of process layer of network may appear the adaptability of various abnormal conditions.
